The Role: The Director of Global Scientific Communications will lead the development and execution of global scientific messaging strategies across Moderna’s pipeline. Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications) PharmD/Ph pioneering 5+ years or BSc/MSc in life sciences with 8+ years of experience in medical communications within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority, driving strategic initiatives globally. Experience utilizing digital platforms to optimize content delivery and stakeholder engagement. Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, impactful messages for diverse external audiences, including healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and key opinion leaders. Hands‑on experience managing the MRC process and ensuring global compliance with varying regulatory requirements across different regions. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience guiding teams on scientific communication best practices, even without direct reporting lines.
