Assistant Controller / Controller - Technology & AI Team

A high-growth technology company is seeking an Assistant Controller / Controller to join its Technology & AI team. This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of accounting, operations, and technology. The position will partner closely across teams to help design scalable accounting workflows, support complex operational initiatives, and serve as a subject matter expert on accounting processes and best practices. Responsibilities Partnering with internal stakeholders to improve and streamline accounting operations and workflows Supporting the development and implementation of scalable financial processes and controls Acting as a key accounting resource across operational and strategic initiatives Assisting with technical accounting research, process documentation, and policy development Collaborating with technology teams on automation and systems-related projects Helping drive process improvements across month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and workflow management Supporting special projects tied to growth, scalability, and operational efficiency Qualifications 4 - 13 years of accounting experience CPA strongly preferred Public accounting and/or complex corporate accounting experience preferred The company offers competitive compensation, equity participation, strong benefits, and significant long-term growth potential within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group, LLC
