Property Accountant

Property AccountantHi there! We are GoldOller and we are currently looking for a Property Accountant to work closely with the VP of Accounting, other accounting staff, asset management and the operations team on property management financial accounting.On any given day you will do one or all of the following:Prepare balance sheet account analysis and account reconciliationReconcile of all bank accountsGenerate monthly financial reports and prepare the supporting schedulesReview financial statements for accuracy and month-end closing reports. Analyze variancesPrepare journal entriesMonth-end closing reportsAssist with the development of internal controlsComplete special projects and duties as neededAnd these are the skills and qualifications you will need to be successful:Ability to conduct financial analysis and researchUnderstanding of theories, principles, and practices of the following: Accounting, Budgeting, Finance, Financial record keepingAbility to analyze situations, identify problems and recommend solutionsDetail orientated with proficiency in composing and proofing materialsEfficient use of time management with the ability to work independentlyKnowledge of OneSite – RealPage Residential Property Management Software, is preferred but not required.Minimum – Bachelor's degree in accounting3-5 years' experience in related fieldsComputer proficiency, with thorough knowledge of ExcelProperty management experience desiredFine Details:Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 9am – 5pmWorkspace: Hybrid; Combination of working from home and two days in office located in the Olde CityWho we are:GoldOller Real Estate Investments is a growing real estate investment company that acquires, develops, and operates multifamily communities throughout the country.
