Maintenance TechnicianTo set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production quality and safety on this equipment.For maximal production efficiently projects include:Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipmentAble to plan for and take corrective action on related problems foundAble to maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustmentsTo maintain effective Equipment Operations:Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing changes over equipment to new sizesTest equipment to check operationsPerforming corrective maintenance checks:Able to perform scheduled maintenanceMakes preventative maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipmentReports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate actionRepair and diagnose problems with support equipment such as cranes, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, and HVACKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, blueprintsAbility to effectively present information managementAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formEducation and Experience:Experience in a manufacturing environment3 or more years experience in injection molding as a maintenance technicianHigh school diploma preferredTwo year technical degree a plus
