Position Summary San Juan College is seeking a licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support services to our diverse student population. This position plays a key role in promoting student well-being through individual counseling, outreach initiatives, wellness presentations, and collaboration with campus partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Provides individual therapy based on case information to San Juan College students; documents therapy sessions; refers students to local mental health agencies. Oversees and monitors the colleges virtual counseling program (UWill) If assigned to serve on the college's Behavioral Intervention Team, provides psychological/behavioral perspective as needed. Develops, publicizes, and delivers mental health presentations or workshops. Develops, implements and maintains on-going mental health outreach efforts. Works with counseling team to develop, update, and maintain counseling policies and protocols. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Holds current Master's Degree level or higher NM License in a clinical mental health field such as: LISW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
