Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.The essential duties and responsibilities include:Ability to lead by example to ensure management of assigned projects by following corporate policies, procedures and core valuesIntegration with the Project Superintendent to maximize project coordination and efficienciesPrime Contract review and negotiation.Meeting project financial performance targetsEstablish and maintain site quality control programs in compliance with client and corporate requirementsEnsure compliance with the Quality Control Plan, Specifications, and Contracts by subcontractors and tradesManage and update Project schedules and budgetsChange Management (cost proposals from subcontractors and submitting Modifications to the client)Create Project control budget with project team and review prior to entry into accountingProvide preconstruction services as required per project specific contractual obligations.Draft and review all subcontracts and vendor purchase ordersReview and approve submittals and RFI'sReview and distribute daily and monthly reportsConduct coordination meetings with subcontractors and clientsAssist the Site Supervisor and Site Safety Officer to establish a culture of safety on project sites.Comply with all OSHA and EM-385 requirementsCommunicate with customer, field staff, subcontractors, provide project updates to the upper managementTravel to job sites to conduct Pre-Bid Walk Throughs, Project Site Visits, Owner Meetings, and InspectionsRequired (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications:Education Requirements: High School Diploma Required, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or EngineeringLevel of Experience Requirements: Minimum of Twenty-Five Years of continuous construction field or office experience (field experience preferred)USACE CQMOSHA 30LEED APEM-385 16 HRProven Experience Managing Projects 15MM to 20MMState of Alaska Residential Construction EndorsementExperience building Construction Schedules with P6 softwareKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:Familiarity with the Microsoft SuiteValid Driver's LicenseShows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on the value of diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment; Builds a diverse workforce.Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.Recognizes and promotes a culture of safetyPreferred:Proficient Estimating ExperiencePeer review of preconstruction estimates prior to turnoverSub solicitation as assigned.Represent the company for the project with the client/design team during pre-constructionBuilding effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core valuesWorkplan developmentSupport pre-bid/proposal project schedulesSupervisory Responsibilities:This position will have supervisory responsibilities.DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements:This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.Necessary Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Job sites may be outdoors, or indoors. During visits to construction sites, the individual may be exposed to: extreme cold or hot weather conditions, hazardous noise, fall hazards, heights in excess of 10 feet, confined spaces, excavations, live traffic, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, hazardous materials, unexploded ordinance, and dimly lit areas.Schedule and Flexibility: Core functions will be performed on a 5 day per week, 8 hours per day work schedule. Site visits and field work will require longer shifts depending on the project schedule and location.Additional Qualifying Factors:As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
