Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive or related service industry. Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computer systems and service management software. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as an Automotive Service Consultant or equivalent. Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop environment. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and terminology. Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base. Demonstrated ability to upsell services and manage customer relationships effectively. DealerTrack Experience ASR Experience Responsibilities: Greet customers promptly and courteously, assessing their vehicle service needs and concerns. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services based on technician input and standard pricing. Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow between customers and service technicians to optimize efficiency. Communicate clearly with customers regarding service progress, additional repairs needed, and completion timelines. Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions, service orders, and follow-up communications. Handle customer complaints professionally and work to resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Promote additional services and maintenance packages that benefit the customer and support business goals. Collaborate with parts department and service technicians to ensure availability of necessary components for repairs.
