About the Position

License: State nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Experience in critical care nursing. - Capable of managing complex patient cases. - Ability to work with diverse patient populations from adults to geriatrics. - Competent in using various medical technologies and patient care systems. Description: The position requires a registered nurse with a focus on critical care. The nurse will be responsible for the care of patients with serious medical conditions. Common diagnoses include ARDS, sepsis, stroke, and post-operative complications. Nurses are expected to manage 2 to 3 patients at a time and be prepared for shifts that may require taking on additional patients. Floating to other units may be required based on patient care needs. Flexibility in scheduling is important, with expectations to work every other weekend and potential holidays. The role requires a commitment to full compliance with all onboarding and training requirements. Nurses should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Team collaboration is essential, with interdisciplinary support available. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in critical care skills and have experience with ventilated patients, central line management, and cardiac monitoring.
