Accounting Manager - Lead GAAP, Month-End Close

V & E Hospitality Group - Corporate Office Description We are looking for an Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Responsibilities Be a hands-on leader of a team of talented accounting professionals Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to improve transparency, efficiency, and process development. Monitor relevant GAAP developments to ensure accounting policies are compliant. Identify and drive projects to develop and enhance procedures for areas of ownership. Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate results. Lead the team in successfully executing against close responsibilities during the period. Proactively work with other departments on new business initiatives; ensure financial statements reflect proper recognition of new business transactions per GAAP. Prepare special reports and assist in special projects as assigned by the Controller and management team.
