Steward/Dishwasher Position at The Hart and The Hunter
The Steward/Dishwasher keeps our kitchen at The Hart and The Hunter clean and running smoothly, from guest dishware to cooking equipment and prep stations. You'll be an upbeat, team-focused presence that keeps the whole kitchen operating at its best.
The task at hand includes:
- Wash, sanitize, and maintain all cooking equipment, cutlery, china, and glassware, keeping workstations properly stocked for service.
- Collect and store produce, proteins, and other ingredients in their proper place.
- Keep kitchen floors, the walk-in fridge, and all food storage areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with Kitchen Management on equipment cleaning, maintenance, and the kitchen cleaning schedule.
- Work positively and professionally with the kitchen team to keep operations smooth and the workplace enjoyable for all.
What we're looking for:
Required:
- A clear understanding of the role and how it fits into a smooth-running kitchen.
- A team player who works well with others, even under pressure.
- Positive, energetic, and service-oriented attitude.
Physical:
- Ability to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift, including bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Flexible schedule, able to work a variety of shifts.
