NC Pre-K Lead Teacher

Are at least 18 years old,possessa high school diploma or GED, and have a minimum of one year's experience in preschool teaching. Additionally, you must hold aBachelor's Degreeand be actively pursuing either NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) or Preschool Add-on Standard Professional II licensure. Your qualifications must include one of the following: an NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License, a North Carolina K-6 license with a provisional Preschool Add-on license, a license from another state accompanied by an NC Provisional B-K license, or a degree in a related field that qualifies you for an NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License. You willbe responsible fordesigning and executing learning experiences that encompass a broad range of developmental areas including physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression. Moreover,you'llconduct regular assessments tomonitorthe children's progress towards School Readiness Goals, tailoring the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with disabilities. Upholding health and safety protocols is paramount in your role, ensuring a secure and clean environment by adhering to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision.
