Reports To: Nursing Supervisor/Director of Nursing

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) at Elzjoseph Healthcare LLC is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes and uphold the standards of nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   
   
   • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
   • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
   • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
   • Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
2. Collaboration:
   
   
   • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
   • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
   • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support.
3. Documentation:
   
   
   • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
   • Document all nursing interventions, patient responses, and changes in condition.
   • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
4. Quality Improvement:
   
   
   • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
   • Identify and address potential risks to patient safety.
   • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
5. Compliance and Safety:
   
   
   • Adhere to all Elzjoseph Healthcare LLC policies and procedures.
   • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
   • Follow infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN license in the state.
• Experience:
  
  
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Skills:
  
  
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
• Certifications:
  
  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Shift work may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move patients.
