Primary Care Physician

Recruit Secure is partnering with a well-established, for-profit healthcare organization seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD) who values flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care. The goal of this role is to improve patient outcomes, enhance the quality of care, and help reduce avoidable hospitalizations.

This is a part-time, 1099 position (2 days per week (any 2 days)) based at a beautiful, newly built Assisted Living community in Fishkill, NY . The physician will work collaboratively with the facility's nursing team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This position requires the physician to be available to text communication regarding patient needs throughout the week, as the Physician will be a sole provider to assist in the communities clinical needs. This role typically pays $45 per note. Compensation can be discussed further during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up care.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with facility nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide education and clinical guidance to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation using the Practice Fusion EMR system.

Requirements:

• Board-certified Medical Doctor (MD) in Primary Care (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred).
• Active New York State medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
