Overview Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, with a focus on serving Latinos in Washington State. Position Medical Receptionist – Posting #27257 Responsibilities Process patient information and manage medical appointments. Contact patients via phone on behalf of Sea Mar and take messages as needed. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and communicate efficiently with patients while being sensitive to their needs. Maintain a high level of work ethic and professionalism; multi-task and use basic office software proficiently. Qualifications Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting. High School Diploma or GED required. Medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel; general typing skills required. Excellent verbal, customer service, and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required. Availability to work on Saturdays.
