If you take pride in doing skilled work right, this is a shop where that shows. Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Punch Press Operator to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining punch press machines to meet our high standards of quality and efficiency. You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This job role requires a keen eye for detail, precision, and a strong understanding of engineering blueprints and designs. Responsibilities: Operate punch press machines and other machinery used in the production process, ensuring tasks are completed with accuracy and efficiency. Interpret engineering drawings, G-Code, and work orders to perform required operations. Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Monitor machines during the production process to ensure optimum running. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform adjustments as needed. Inspect completed workpieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges and micrometers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output. Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and maintaining punch press machines, specifically AMADA turret punch. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and G-Code. Extensive knowledge of tool and die. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items. Commitment to adhere to all health and safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. Familiarity with quality control analysis and reporting.
