Louisa Foods is currently seeking qualified applicants for an Retail Sales Assistant. We are looking for a responsible self-starter with professional demeanor, great communication skills and attention to detail.

NOTE: This position will start working full-time in-office during the first several months of training in our Valmeyer, IL (Rock City) location. Then it will turn into a hybrid in-office/work from home position with 2-3 days WFH. In 2027, the Valmeyer IL location will be moved to St. Louis, MO (Overland) area.

JOB DUTIES:

Sales Support functions include track and record customer contracts, including data entry of invoices related to contracts. Handle and resolve customer issues and follow-up on past due accounts. Calculate commissions and other customer incentive programs. Reconcile accounts for accuracy. Process customer orders obtained by phone, fax, and internet, including coordination of delivery and sourcing freight carriers. Will also perform additional assignments per management's direction, as needed.

• Two or more years of sales support experience preferred.

• EDI experience is a plus.

• Must have advanced knowledge of a variety of office practices and procedures, such as office equipment and Microsoft Office products.
