OR Circulating Nurse - Chicago, IL

Job Type: Full-Time or Contract

Location: Chicago, IL

Position Summary:

Aura Staffing is seeking an experienced OR Circulating Registered Nurse to join a strong surgical team within a leading Chicago healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the operating room and be comfortable supporting patients and surgical staff through all phases of care.

Responsibilities:

Provide circulating nursing support during surgical procedures
Prepare OR environment, equipment, and supplies
Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile technique
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs
Document patient information accurately and timely
Support smooth transitions between intra-operative and PACU phases

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Active RN license (Illinois or compact)
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
Experience in OR Intra-Op required
Experience in PACU strongly preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
