Job Title: Production Assistant 1 Department: Production Supervisor: Transportation Supervisor Pay Rate: $20.52 Per Hour

Essential job duties include following daily routing directions and avoiding going off route without exception, managing time daily to ensure route is completed within the approved work schedule, responsible for the safe loading and unloading of assigned truck, handling all donated material with safe handling procedures and assigned personal protective equipment at all times, training, instructing and supervising truck helper in their WTA, responsible for Bag & Tag as instructed by Supervisor and procedure, all pre and post checks must be completed daily, ensuring that all customers are treated courteously and with good customer service, promptly reporting to immediate supervisor all accidents involving truck, personal injury or property damage, abiding by all DOT regulations and state and local laws while maintaining a safe driving record, attending all driver safety meetings as required, reporting all infractions of safety procedures to the Transportation Supervisor, and adhering to all meal and rest breaks per state law and company policy.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent required, valid driver's license, clean driving record and be able to pass an MVR, strong time management and customer service skills, ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information, and strong oral and written communication skills.

Physical requirements include ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis, ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts, ability to operate a motor vehicle, ability to lift up to 100lbs, and ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
