Human Resources Specialist (Classification)

• You deliver expert guidance across all facets of classification, applying OPM and agency classification and job grading standards to GS, FWS, and other covered positions with accuracy and confidence.
• You serve as a trusted advisor and collaborative partner to senior leadership, program managers, and supervisors on position classification and position management strategies that support mission success.
• You partner with senior managers to provide authoritative guidance on position management challenges, including reorganizations, realignments, and transfer-of-function actions.
• You respond to FLSA review requests, determine exemption status, and evaluate BUS codes to support informed bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit classification decisions.
• You build strong, productive partnerships with managers across assigned business units to advance effective classification and position management solutions.
