Senior Payroll Specialist

Process full-cycle, multistate payroll for approximately 300 employees across multiple business divisions. Utilize QuickBooks and Inova to ensure accurate payroll processing and recordkeeping. Review payroll data for accuracy, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefit withholdings. Partner closely with the Head of HR to resolve payroll issues. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processing. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies. Desired Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience. Experience processing multistate payroll for 300+ employees. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Inova payroll systems is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and compliance requirements. Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR and leadership.
