Senior Associate Chemist

Responsibilities Perform organic synthesis laboratory tests and procedures according to standard protocols and safety guidelines. Carry out daily lab operations including set‑up reactions, purification, and characterization (GC‑MS, NMR, IR, etc.). Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and devices. Execute designed experiments under supervision of senior chemists. Record, analyze, and report data using software and databases. Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures and regulations. Assist with research projects and experiments as needed. Communicate and collaborate with other lab staff, researchers, and supervisors. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s or associate degree in chemistry and similar technical fields, or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant chemistry laboratory experience. At least five years of experience working in a chemistry laboratory setting. Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safe working practices. Experience in working with HF or willingness to learn how to deal with HF. Ability to carry out experiments independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with proper attention to detail, accuracy, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to accurately record observations and results consistent with protection of intellectual property. Computer skills in Windows operating system and willingness to learn new software. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time‑sensitive projects. Preferred: Interest in organic synthesis, creating new molecules and creating new routes to synthesize wanted molecules.
