As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be the one finding, engaging, and hiring the skilled tradespeople and technical talent who keep our manufacturing facilities, shops, and field-service operations moving. This is a hands‑on partnership with the people who build and service the machinery our customers depend on. WHAT YOU'LL DO Partner with hiring managers across manufacturing, shop, and field service teams to understand role requirements, workforce needs, and team dynamics. Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and hourly roles — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers. Build real relationships with employees and leaders to stay connected to the work, the culture, and where talent needs are headed. Develop sourcing strategies that reach skilled tradespeople and technical talent through community outreach, job fairs, trade schools, and digital platforms. Write job postings that accurately reflect the work and attract qualified candidates. Keep candidates engaged with consistent communication from application through onboarding. Track recruiting activity, pipelines, and hiring metrics to support workforce planning. Collaborate with HR colleagues on onboarding, workforce development, and retention initiatives. Represent Cooper professionally and authentically in every recruiting interaction. Help shape and improve recruiting processes as our HR function continues to grow. WHO YOU ARE 3-5 years of experience recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, field service, or other technical roles. Strong understanding of industrial work environments and the skills hands‑on roles require. Able to build trust and credibility with employees at every level, from the shop floor to leadership. Experienced managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment. A strong sourcer who's comfortable using multiple channels to find hard-to-reach talent. An excellent communicator and relationship-builder. Organized enough to manage multiple open roles at once without dropping the ball. Proficient with applicant tracking systems and basic HR technology. Comfortable collaborating as part of a global HR team. PREFERRED A positive, solution-oriented mindset and a genuine willingness to pitch in wherever needed. Comfortable working in an evolving HR function where processes are still being built. Hands‑on and approachable — willing to spend time on the floor and in the field to understand the work. Adaptable and quick to adjust as business needs shift.
