Role Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a full-time, on-site role based in Daytona Beach, FL. This role is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, and monitoring progress for students with ASD. The BCBA collaborates with teachers, therapists, and families to integrate behavior strategies into classroom and home settings, and provides ongoing training and support to school staff and caregivers. Daily tasks include collecting and analyzing data, adjusting interventions based on outcomes, and ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with ethical and professional standards. The BCBA also participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributes to the development of school-wide behavior and support policies. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including assessment, intervention design, and data-driven decision making. Candidates should possess skills in Psychology and Behavior Management to support emotional regulation, social skills, and classroom behavior across diverse learners. Candidates should possess skills in Parent Education to coach caregivers on implementing behavior strategies and reinforcing skill development at home. Current BCBA certification and eligibility to practice in Florida; master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders in school or clinical settings, preferably in specialized or inclusion-focused programs. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to train and support interdisciplinary teams.
