**Elevate Your Career as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** Medical Surgical - **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) - **Patient Ratio:** Days/Nights/Weekends – 1:6 **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care to Adult and Geriatric patients in a Med/Surg unit. - Administer medication including Heparin, Insulin, and PCA. - Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line blood draws. - Manage and care for surgical drains and colostomy/ileostomy patients. - Implement respiratory support with devices like BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula. - Conduct telemetry monitoring and respond to emergencies using Rapid Response/Code teams. **Qualifications:** - Preferred 2 years of nursing experience in Med/Surg or related specialties. - Must hold a valid BLS certification (Certifications marked with * are preferred). - Skills in IV therapy, blood product administration, and wound care strongly preferred. - Ability to float within the unit is required. **Work Environment:** - Daily Census: 24 - Number of Rooms: 30 - Number of Beds: 30 - Interdisciplinary Support from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more. **Additional Information:** - Orientation: 12 hours - Weekend Coverage: Every Other - Schedule Type: Self-scheduling - Potential for 36 or 48-hour work weeks available. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
