Quality InspectorWe're Hiring a Quality Inspector / CMM Technician!What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Quality Inspector Details:Contract to Hire position$ 52,000.00 to $ 72,800.00 / annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Job Details:Operate a portable articulating measuring arm to perform dimensional inspections on fabricated, machined, and welded componentsInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformanceCreate alignments, establish datums, and perform accurate measurements using portable CMM technology and inspection softwareConduct first-piece, in-process, final, and receiving inspections to ensure parts meet customer and engineering specificationsGenerate inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation within the company's quality management systemIdentify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials or dimensional issues while supporting corrective actions and root-cause investigationsMaintain and calibrate measuring equipment, ensuring all inspection tools are accurate, properly maintained, and compliant with quality standardsQuality Inspector Qualifications:Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience using a portable articulating measuring arm (preferred)Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawingsWorking knowledge of GD&T Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsHigh school diploma or GEDApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
