This position involves providing specialized peri-anesthesia care to patients across all age groups in a 28-bed unit. The role demands strong ICU experience and participation in rotating shifts. Additional duties include titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration, and fluid resuscitation. Floating within scope to other units and sister facilities is required. On-call shifts are part of the schedule, with two to four shifts every six weeks. Compliance documentation must be completed within 5 days prior to start. Qualifications Required: Active Maryland or Compact RN license Required: ACLS, BLS certifications Required: Previous charge experience of at least two years Required: ICU experience Required: Travel experience Preferred: Experience with Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) protocols Preferred: Trauma Level I and II experience Preferred: Charting system experience with Epic Additional Information The unit is a 28-bed peri-anesthesia care setting serving a broad spectrum of patient ages including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Nurses must be competent in titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration, and fluid resuscitation. Floating within scope to other units and sister facilities is required. On-call shifts are part of the schedule, with two to four shifts every six weeks. Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions and accept auto-offer units without interview. Compliance documentation must be completed within 5 days prior to start.
