UPMC Northwest in Seneca, PA, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care within a community hospital setting, utilizing state-of-the-art treatment technology. Practice Info Community hospital with state-of-the-art treatment technology 96 private rooms, adjustable to accommodate up to 126 beds UPMC Behavioral Health Network includes a 28-bed behavioral health building connected by an enclosed walkway 16-bed unit for transitional care Nine-bed unit for inpatient rehabilitation CRNAs have opportunities to perform regional blocks Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $650,000 Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100,000 Benefits Generous benefits package Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule 2 weeks on, 1 week off 17 weeks off per year Beeper call every other day Requirements M.D./D.O.
