Materials Handler I

What you’ll be doing Order pulling and staging materials Shipping and receiving primarily using UPS Ground or FedEx Express Receiving material on a daily basis and matching against packing slips/orders Performing various warehouse duties as assigned by Dept. Manager Preparing various job-related forms using a computer What we like about you High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift 50 - 75 LBS 1-2 years general warehouse and delivery driver experience – preferred but not required Experience with forklift, pallet jack, basic hand tools, and miscellaneous warehouse equipment Excellent Customer Service, communication, reading & organizational skills Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Excel) Ability to complete projects independently or with little supervision Must be able to pass a DOJ/Background & drug screen test pending offer acceptance Forklift Certification or must acquire within 30 days of start date Detail oriented Ability to clean and maintain work area Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
