Customer Service Representative

Established floor covering distributor, and an exclusive Formica dealer.

We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a full-time position which entails entering sales orders into a Microsoft-based software program. Candidate must be able to process orders accurately, and in a timely manner. Position also involves checking inventory, processing returns, and answering customer inquiries by email, phone, and in person.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in one or more of the following fields: construction, floor covering, building materials, counter-tops or cabinet sales

• Possess excellent customer service skills

• Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred but not required

• Has a strong sense of time organization and urgency

• Capable of learning new product information; has strong math (multiplication & division), computer and problem-solving skills

• Quick learner/multi-tasker

• Competent converting measurements: feet to inches/inches to feet

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook & is able to learn other Microsoft based software

• Punctual and able to work hours of operation, M-F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
