Accountant III

Accountant 3 – Overview Under limited direction, the Accountant 3 prepares complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain complex ledger accounts. Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses. Communicate findings to management. Lead, coordinate, and conduct significant accounting projects. Lead and/or train less‑experienced accountants. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Three or more years of experience in accounting, bank accounting/reporting, financial reporting, or a related financial regulatory field. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of banking regulations and core banking processes. Robust analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships. Strong multi‑tasking skills and ability to excel in both team‑oriented and independently driven assignments. Public accounting experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with General Ledger, Loan Origination systems, Loan Servicing systems, regulatory reporting, and/or banking regulations. Essbase experience is a plus. Exempt Status Yes (not eligible for overtime pay). Workplace Type Office. Some positions may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, including in‑office and work‑from‑home options. Compensation Annual salary range: $57,000 - $113,000. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and education. Eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
