Welder

We are seeking an experienced Welder with hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from welding diagrams, layouts, and work orders to produce quality welds that meet specifications.

Requirements of the Welder

• Hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience
• Ability to read and follow welding diagrams, layouts, work orders, and instructions
• Ability to successfully complete a weld test administered by a CWI
• Experience working with jigs, fixtures, and clamps
• Ability to select appropriate welding equipment and settings based on material and thickness
• Strong attention to weld quality and specifications

Responsibilities of the Welder

• Position and secure parts in jigs or fixtures according to layout marks
• Set up welding equipment based on job specifications and material thickness
• Weld metal components according to layouts, diagrams, and work orders
• Inspect completed welds for proper bead size and quality
• Grind and remove excess weld, slag, and spatter as needed
• Clean and degrease parts as required

2nd shift: 3:30PM - 2:00AM Monday through Thursday

Pay is $20.00 - $28.00 an hour, based on experience
