This role is for someone who can set the tone, raise the standard, build trust, drive results, and lead with both grit and grace. The Administrator will be responsible for the overall operations of the facility, but more importantly, for building a culture where residents are protected, employees are engaged, families are heard, and excellence is the expectation, not the exception.

The right candidate will understand that this is not just about census, budgets, and surveys. It is about creating a place people are proud to work in, proud to live in, and proud to walk into.

The Administrator serves as the operational and cultural leader of the facility and is responsible for:

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the center in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Creating a culture of accountability, service, teamwork, and resident-centered care
• Building, coaching, and developing department leaders who know how to lead, not just manage
• Driving quality outcomes, survey readiness, financial performance, census growth, and employee retention
• Maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospital partners, and the community
• Ensuring systems are in place to support clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational consistency
• Responding to problems directly, professionally, and quickly
• Partnering with corporate support teams while maintaining ownership of the building’s performance
• Protecting the reputation of the facility by leading with integrity and follow-through
• Setting the standard for professionalism, urgency, and excellence in every department

• Current North Carolina Nursing Home Administrator license, in good standing
• Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing facility operations
• Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations, survey process, reimbursement, staffing, and quality measures
• Demonstrated success in team development, problem solving, and operational turnaround
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead tough conversations clearly and professionally
• Ability to drive accountability without losing the human side of leadership
• High level of ownership, urgency, and follow-through
