Senior Project Manager for Operations

As a Senior Project Manager for the Operations team, you will lead strategic initiatives focused on process improvement, operational risk management, issue resolution, and control effectiveness across Citizens Pay Operations. This role partners closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, Technology, and vendor teams to identify risks, address operational challenges, and implement sustainable solutions that improve customer outcomes and business performance.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that strengthen operational processes, controls, and risk management practices.
• Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, assess impacts, and support data-driven decision making.
• Drive root cause analysis, action planning, issue resolution, and implementation of process improvements.
• Develop a strong understanding of Citizens Pay products, servicing processes, and supporting systems.
• Partner across business and technology teams to evaluate system functionality and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Manage and prioritize emerging operational issues while balancing strategic project delivery.
• Provide executive-level reporting, governance, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead teams through change, driving accountability and execution from problem identification through sustainable resolution.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

• 5+ years of project management, operations, risk management, consulting, or related experience.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives in a complex, regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large data sets and translating findings into actionable solutions.
• Ability to quickly learn multiple products, systems, and operational workflows.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Hours & Work Schedule:

• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
