BANKING & FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY BANKING & FINANCE PRACTICE GROUP Locations: New York, NY | Los Angeles, CA / San Francisco, CA HYBRID Our client, a prestigious Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a highly motivated Banking & Finance Associate Attorney to join its sophisticated and expanding Banking & Finance practice. This opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions, working alongside a collaborative team known for its technical excellence and client-focused approach. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-value matters across private credit, structured finance, syndicated lending, distressed financings, receivables financings, and growth capital transactions, representing both lenders and borrowers. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record . Active Bar Admission in New York or California , in good standing. 3–7 years of substantive banking and finance transaction experience at a major law firm . Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in a broad range of debt financings, including private credit and syndicated facilities Familiarity with structured credit, receivables financings, distressed financings, and growth capital transactions Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail Large law firm experience strongly preferred Key Responsibilities Represent lenders and borrowers in domestic and international financing transactions Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and related transaction materials Support transactions involving private credit, syndicated credit facilities, structured finance, and distressed situations Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless client service Manage deal execution from initial diligence through closing Why Join Us?
