NECIC Staffing is hiring an experienced Fabricator/Welder for a growing manufacturing company in Wooster, Ohio. If you have fabrication and welding experience, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule
- Monday Thursday: 7:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Friday: 7:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m.
- Very little overtime required
What You'll Do:
- Fabricate, cut, fit, and weld metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Position, align, and assemble parts to specifications
- Operate grinders, cutting torches, hand tools, hoists, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous fabrication and welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using measuring tools and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs., frequently lift up to 75 lbs., and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
