Job Description

As a Security Officer Field Patrol Driver in Sterling, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech data center location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and report access-related issues, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support site operations by assisting with visitor processing, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, equipment spaces, and other restricted locations.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
