Employing instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting lesson objectives. Maintaining a neat and orderly classroom. Straightening chairs, tables, clearing the chalkboard, etc. Taking attendance in accordance with school procedures. Indicating to students at the beginning of class the basic expectations for behavior in the class in accordance with school and Durham Public Schools policies. Ensuring that the students are never left unattended in the classroom.
