Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving TK-8th grade students in a vibrant school environment near Tracy, CA. This full-time position supports a manageable caseload of up to 60 students and runs from August 3rd through May 28th. You’ll be working Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., making a lasting difference over the course of the academic year.

Qualifications:

• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience in K-8 school settings is strongly preferred
• Proficient in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students in transitional kindergarten through 8th grade with diverse needs
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs, collaborating closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain thorough records for each student on your caseload
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
• Deliver therapy individually and in small group settings to best support students’ learning and communication goals
• Offer guidance and education to staff and parents on speech and language strategies that enhance student success
