Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Job Details:

• Seeking Scrub Technologist specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab with 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred

• 36 guaranteed hours for 12-hour shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10-hour shifts

• Call is required as part of the position

• Weekend coverage may be required and can be discussed with manager

• Will float within scope to meet facility needs and to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles

• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

• Required certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS; Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred; RCIS also preferred

• Must complete time-sensitive modules pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)

• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum

• Scrub color: Ceil blue

• Charting system: EPIC

• Free parking available

• Skills required: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, sterile technique, equipment setup

• Must maintain sterile field and follow isolation precautions

• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations

• All RTO must be submitted at time of application

This 180-bed short-term acute care facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory specializing in both diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The facility maintains a smoke-free environment and utilizes EPIC charting systems to support high-quality patient care. The organization emphasizes team collaboration and provides ongoing education through mandatory modules to ensure staff competency in specialized cardiac procedures.
