About the Role:

The Chief of Staff role at Beaming Health exists to take things off our CEO's plate. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You'll directly own the operational, administrative, and compliance work that currently sits with him, ranging from strategic projects to detail-heavy paperwork. We're looking for someone who treats all of it, big or small, with the same level of care.

Expectations:

• Take work directly off the CEO's plate
• Don't wait to be asked twice. If you see something that needs doing, do it.
• Move fluidly between strategic work and detail-heavy execution, without needing either one dressed up as something bigger.

Compliance & credentialing

• Complete state, payer, and regulatory applications — including business registrations, payer credentialing/contracting paperwork, and insurance documentation.
• Help lead HIPAA compliance efforts, including maintaining policies, tracking training, and supporting audits or incident response as needed.

HR & people operations

• Support onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records and policies.
• Help with compensation research and organizing hiring logistics as the team grows.

Accounting & finance support

• Support light bookkeeping, expense tracking, and coordination with our accountant.
• Help prepare materials for financial reporting, audits, or investor updates as needed.

About You:

• You genuinely believe no task is beneath you — you take real satisfaction in clearing things off someone else's plate, whatever that requires.
• You take pride in doing small things well — a sloppy spreadsheet bothers you as much as a sloppy strategy doc.
• You're highly organized and reliable. If you say you'll do something, it gets done, and nothing slips through the cracks.
• You're comfortable in ambiguity and can figure out what needs to happen without being told every step.
• You communicate clearly and directly, in writing and in conversation.
• You're excited to work on something that meaningfully improves healthcare access for kids and families.
• Experience with HR, compliance, accounting, or operations at a startup is a plus, but we care most about your judgment, reliability, and willingness to do whatever's needed.

Other Logistics:

This is a full-time, fully-virtual role, reporting directly to the CEO. We value flexibility — our team is spread across California, Colorado, Minnesota, New York, and Ukraine — and we value time together, with quarterly team on-sites to build real relationships.
