Commercial Market Sales Representative

Overview Cambria seeks a motivated sales professional in Denver, CO, to drive business growth within the architectural and design community. The role involves developing, cultivating, and expanding sales across assigned territories while providing superior service and promoting the Cambria brand. Responsibilities Build and maintain strategically beneficial relationships with residential and commercial architects and designers. Plan and schedule sales calls with partners and influencers. Collaborate daily with Market Representatives to steward and close active projects. Provide project samples and update product libraries with Cambria designs, marketing materials, and contact information. Participate in industry associations (e.g., IIDA, AIA) for networking. Meet with customers daily, including meals and events, sometimes outside normal business hours. Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans in alignment with the Direct Manager. Accurately collect and update customer and project data daily in Salesforce and the Commercial Nerve Center. Identify and attend appropriate trade shows to increase brand recognition. Maintain and submit expense invoices for reimbursement daily. Present product knowledge to architects, designers, and specifiers. Educate partners on product attributes, differentiators, and the brand’s value, quality, and history. Understand and present all sales and marketing programs and materials. Be an expert in industry standards, regulatory codes, and green issues such as LEED. Advise partners effectively to benefit both their business and Cambria. Conduct AIA and IDCEC continuing education seminars. Use all Cambria social media channels to promote the brand and product. Qualifications & Skills Experience in the architectural and design industry is a plus. Previous B2B sales experience is required. Strong business knowledge and financial acumen. Proven track record of customer focus and professional demeanor. Ability to build strong professional relationships and achieve sales targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Superior organizational and follow‑up skills. Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently. Entrepreneurial mindset. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibility. Must be able to work from home as needed. Must reside in Denver and be able to travel throughout the assigned territory. Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in business‑to‑business (B2B) sales, preferably within architectural and design fields. Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); Concur and Salesforce preferred. Additional Requirements Travel: 90% local travel to customers, 10% to trade shows, associations, and Minnesota training trips. Must work extended hours, evenings, overnight, and weekends. Driver’s License: Must hold a valid Driver’s License. Physical: Able to lift up to 50 pounds to deliver samples and trade show materials. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $85,000 – $114,000, determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay influenced by location, experience, education, and training. Vehicle: Company vehicle provided based on fleet availability, or temporary mileage reimbursement until a vehicle is available.
