Location(s) Eden Court Apartments - 1220 Jefferson Ave., Seguin, TX 78155 Balcones Haus Apartments - 246 Loma Vista Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130 Job Summary We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager who will support the Property Manager in the efficient operation of a senior affordable housing community. This position will assist with daily administrative and property management activities, resident services, leasing, rent collections, and compliance with affordable housing requirements. Key Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring the community runs smoothly and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner. Assist with leasing activities, including showing available units, processing applications, and completing required documentation. Support rent collection efforts, monitor delinquencies, and assist with enforcing lease requirements. Maintain accurate and confidential resident files, records, and property documentation. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure work orders and resident maintenance requests are addressed promptly. Assist with resident communication, notices, and community activities. Prepare reports and assist with tracking occupancy, collections, and other property performance information. Assist the Property Manager with administrative, financial, and operational responsibilities. Follow all applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations and company policies. Support compliance with affordable housing programs, including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8, as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the community. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. One or more years of general office, customer service, sales, marketing, or property management experience. Previous affordable housing or property management experience preferred. Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and/or Section 8 programs preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively with senior residents, team members, vendors, and community partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property management software.
