Job Description
Plainfield Counseling Center LLC is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team in Plainfield. This part-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support within our community. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic support and guidance to clients facing various mental health challenges. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health counseling to individuals and families to help them achieve their goals
- Conduct assessments to identify mental health concerns and develop treatment plans
- Offer support and guidance to clients dealing with various mental health issues
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records following confidentiality guidelines
- Stay informed about new developments in the field of mental health counseling
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion towards clients
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mental health counseling
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $49,800 - $60,000 per year
