Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Gloucester County

Overview Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Southern New Jersey to provide In-Home weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for passionate professionals to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents with exceptional needs. Key Responsibilities Providing individual In-home therapy and Telehealth therapy sessions. Performing bio-psycho-social assessments (training or completion may be required). Provide coping and social skills training, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or physical aggression. Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges. Collaborate effectively with the Child-Family Treatment Team and professionals from other disciplines who support the youth and family. Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.). Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation. Must be able to complete or be willing to train for bio-psycho-social assessments. Requirements Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT). Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training. Some training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training. Post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience. Experience creating treatment plans, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments. Experience with counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care. Knowledge of DSM-5 for assessments and diagnosis. Availability for a minimum of 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours (12:00 noon – 8:00 pm); weekend flexibility is a plus. Experience providing positive behavior supports. Experience with children ages 3-20; experience with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus. Valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle. Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting. Resume plus copies of master’s degree and NJ license or certification.
