Security Operations Manager

Manager of Security Operations - Memphis, Tennessee Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Security Operations to oversee security operations within the Memphis, TN market. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily security functions, leading teams of supervisors and officers, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the primary liaison between client leadership and company management. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong experience in security operations, workforce management, client service, and performance oversight. This position requires a hands-on manager who can drive results, maintain compliance, and consistently deliver exceptional service across assigned locations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership Provide direct on-site leadership and oversight for all assigned security personnel across one or multiple locations Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership regarding all security-related operations, performance, and service delivery Ensure all security operations are executed professionally, efficiently, and in alignment with client and company expectations Lead emergency response initiatives, incident management, investigations, and operational escalations as required Workforce Management Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, supervision, scheduling, training, coaching, and development of all shift supervisors and security officers Maintain proper staffing levels to support operational needs while managing labor costs effectively Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and performance excellence Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employee development planning Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with client leadership Maintain clear communication protocols to ensure transparency, responsiveness, and trust Consistently deliver services that exceed client expectations and contractual standards Address client concerns promptly while implementing effective operational solutions Performance & Compliance Achieve and maintain client-established performance metrics and service level expectations Ensure full compliance with internal company policies, procedures, and reporting standards Monitor and manage key performance indicators including workforce quality, scheduling efficiency, expense control, and administrative accuracy Oversee all required incident reporting, staffing documentation, audits, and operational records Asset & Resource Management Manage all site security equipment, patrol assets, fleet vehicles, and operational resources Ensure proper maintenance, accountability, and readiness of all equipment utilized in security operations Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency Qualifications: 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in security management, operations, law enforcement, military, or related field Proven experience managing teams in fast-paced environments Experience in client-facing leadership roles with demonstrated success building professional relationships Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills Proficiency with scheduling systems, reporting platforms, and performance tracking tools Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and emergency response situations as needed Multi-site leadership or account management experience preferredMulti-site leadership or account management experience preferred Security-related certifications or professional training are a plus Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Operations, or related field preferred but not required Must pass extensive pre-employment screening #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
