Automation Assembler

This position requires the assembling of many machine parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead Person or Supervisor.

Essential functions include reading and interpreting blueprints, training other employees, performing quality checks, identifying defects, and adhering to safety procedures. The role also involves lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing up to 16 feet, and working beyond normal business hours when necessary.

Non-essential functions include specific vision abilities, critical thinking, and communication of corporate environmental, health, and safety programs.

Pay range is $20.00-$22.00 per hour, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:45am to 3:30pm. The position reports to the Lead Person, Department Supervisor, and Production Manager. There are no subordinate staff.

Knowledge required includes forklift and crane operation, metric system usage, communication skills, hand and power tool use, and previous heavy equipment/machinery assembly experience. Mathematical skills involve basic computations and metric measurements. Physical demands include lifting, walking, standing, fine motor skills, and various bending and reaching activities. The work environment is climate controlled with low noise levels.
