Interstate & Local Truck Driver (Class A)

We are seeking a bilingual (English & Spanish), highly motivated and experienced Interstate & Local Truck Driver with a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently between various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a Class A commercial vehicle to transport metals to various destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Maneuver trucks into loading and/or unloading positions.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and standards, including Hours of Service regulations.
• Handle local and interstate routes as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with interstate and local routes.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to load and unload heavy cargo.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
