To define those characteristics that are needed to perform successfully as a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg and ICU Department. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. This position is represented by RCHEA.
Line of Responsibility and Authority
LINE OF AUTHORITY: RN II, Emergency Department - Director of Emergency Department
Night Shift; 1800 to 0630 shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, per Manager. ER and ICU experience preferred as some floating may be needed. Must have EPIC experience.
Education and Qualifications
At least one year Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience & in good standing.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California.
Evidence of current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire.
MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended.
Basic computer skills.
