Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team in Richmond, VA! In this role, you will help ensure our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks according to resident dietary plans and facility menus. Ensure proper portion control and food presentation. Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays and assist with dining room service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and equipment. Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following safe food-handling procedures. Stock and organize food supplies and assist with inventory and storage as needed. Collaborate with dietary, nursing, and care staff to support residents' nutritional needs. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Dietary Aide or food service experience required (healthcare or long-term care experience preferred). High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable and available to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
