Our client is seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the daily operations of a fast-paced warehouse and event logistics environment. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in maintaining warehouse readiness, managing inventory, coordinating logistics, supporting fleet operations, and ensuring all event-related assets are organized, maintained, and deployment-ready. This position requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.


The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will work closely with multiple departments to ensure materials, equipment, vehicles, and event assets are prepared and delivered according to operational timelines.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure overall readiness of the warehouse environment.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement warehouse workflows that support successful event execution and logistics.
• Ensure warehouse inventory is properly labeled, stored, organized, and easily accessible.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling for outgoing and returning assets.
• Supervise loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, freight shipments, and equipment.
• Ensure materials are accurately packed, staged, and shipped according to project timelines.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment, promotional materials, uniforms, signage, consumables, and production assets.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and routine inventory inspections.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Monitor asset lifecycle management, including maintenance, repairs, replacements, and retirement recommendations.
• Inspect event assets prior to deployment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of warehouse equipment and event assets.
• Support changing priorities and urgent operational needs while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
• Assist with fleet management, including preventative maintenance scheduling, vehicle inspections, registrations, and repair coordination.
• Assign and monitor daily tasks for warehouse staff and support personnel.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify opportunities to reduce workplace risks.
• Promote safe operation of forklifts, power tools, ladders, loading docks, and warehouse equipment.
• Maintain warehouse documentation, inventory records, maintenance logs, and operational reports.
• Provide leadership with updates regarding inventory status, warehouse performance, and operational metrics.
• Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and support business growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse operations, logistics, or fleet management experience.
• Experience managing inventory systems and warehouse workflows.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• DOT Medical Card preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
